After 15 years spent running the retail design services for an industry partner, Teresa felt she needed to expand her creative reach.
The concept of Plan-It Design was born when Teresa realized that there were no affordable design services offered for women like her; busy moms who felt they needed help, but may have been intimidated by the idea of hiring an interior designer.

Her services evolved into offering services at attainable price points, which helped clients feel comfortable throughout the design process.
​
Design services are a natural progression into building, so expansion into remodeling and general contracting followed.

The success of Plan-It Design has been the marriage of both designing and remodeling. Some clients just need help with choosing a paint color, some want a brand new kitchen! Whatever your need, one of our design packages will help you achieve your design goal.

Michelle Warren grew up in Carmel, CA and graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in English. She has always had a passion, and as friends say, a knack for putting things together. She loves to thrift and repurpose items for decor. Her style could be considered eclectic. She moves Plan-It Design's design process along by sourcing unique and affordable products, and handling the behind-the-scenes part of the business. Her life-long love of design makes her unparalleled in translating an idea to a reality.
Megan Meyer
Megan Meyer is the social media lead for Plan-It Design. She is from Southern California. She has always had an interest in Interior Design and has a unique eye for pattern and style. Megan is excited to exemplify the catalyzing power that lies within social media in terms of communication and engagement. Her love for social media translates in beautiful, reachable online media.

Makena Darias Barba
Makena Darias Barba is the technical writer for Plan-It Design. She graduated with a major in Communication studies from Texas A&M University. Gig’Em! She has been engulfed in the world of the design since before she learned the Alphabet. As the daughter of a designer the world of textile, paint, texture was nothing of a foreign nature. Makena is excited to create a mutually beneficial string of communication that is efficient and effective.
